Employee Spotlight: Eric Violante
Meet Eric Violante, certified Asbestos Project Monitor and Inspector / Mold Inspector and Lab Analyst at GEO Environmental Co., Inc.
Eric started his career with us just over two years ago. While he will continue to perform and supervise these duties, he will now be GEO Environmental Co., Inc.’s new Technical Lab Director. Eric has completed his B.S. in Environmental Science and taken the necessary coursework in microscopic analysis, which allows him to fill this position. His new duties will involve Phased Contrast Microscopic analysis, quality control, and laboratory management.
Before joining GEO Environmental Co., Inc., Eric served his country in the Navy as an aviation mechanic, followed by oversight management in the Oil and Gas industry. He decided to leave California so he, his wife, and two children could be closer to their families.
The reason we’re featuring him on our blog this month is to showcase our appreciation for his efforts. His meticulous work ethic, attention to detail, and desire to learn and take on more responsibility are reasons he has been promoted to Technical Laboratory Director.
What makes Eric unique is that he routinely foresees the client’s needs and ensures that they’re met. He invariably goes the extra mile, takes the initiative, and makes GEO Environmental Co., Inc. stand out against the competition.
When we asked him about why he loves working with us, he grinned and said: “Providing service in the environmental field is very gratifying in that it is helping keep people safe and healthy while also trying to minimize or stop the damage we are doing to our ecosystem. It is a pleasure to work with and assist our clients in getting their projects completed in the safest and most efficient and economical way.”
Just like Eric, we at GEO Environmental Co., Inc. take great pride in providing professional, dependable, high-quality services to residential and commercial clients without forgetting the importance of value and personal commitment. Our services include asbestos pre-demolition and pre-renovation inspections, infiltration blower door or duct leakage testing for energy efficiency, asbestos air sampling and analysis, asbestos project monitoring, indoor air quality testing, asbestos project design, mold testing, radon testing, mold assessments and work plans, and pre-renovation/demolition lead paint inspections.
