I’m Bob Violante, the proud owner of GEO Environmental Co., Inc. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
From a young age, I enjoyed solving problems and knew I wanted to help people. After completing my education at St. John’s University, with degrees in toxicology and analytical chemistry, I discovered that there was a need for professional and affordable testing and consulting services after the new asbestos regulations were introduced.
In 1988, after working for forensic, clinical, and engineering firms, I decided to use my knowledge and years of management experience to establish GEO Environmental Co., Inc., to provide personalized, problem solving, and testing services to clients. Thirty years later, I can say that I have indeed found my calling working in the environmental field, offering the industry’s best health and safety inspections. My years of experience have enabled me to accommodate clients with difficult workplace conditions like hospitals.
However, municipalities are now enforcing many older environmental codes, which create extra work for homeowners wanting to renovate or contractors wishing to demolish a structure. I also specialize in getting them through this step.
The part of my business that I most enjoy is helping rectifying mistakes made by unsuspecting contractors. I take great pride in ensuring my clients are taken care of, and their projects are moving in the right direction, safely and economically.

It is very satisfying to see our team members enjoying their work and find that overcoming the challenges of this profession has given me immense satisfaction over the years.
When I am not at work, I enjoy challenging my mind and body, and supporting causes that protect the environment, alleviate suffering and promote hope.
I also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, I am dedicated to a clean environment with health and safety for all. I also support our veterans and value all they have done to keep us safe.
